Group Life Assurance Benefit
A rider benefit to our members on DC/ statutory product with the following package:
Funeral benefit of Ksh. 150,000.
Death benefit
Critical Illness – In the case whereby a member contracts illness after the waiting period for the first time and before terminal age (70 years) ,the member will receive 30% of death benefit to a maximum of 5M. Written notice must be given as soon and practicable as possible after date of diagnosis.
Permanent Total Disability – In the event of Total Disability of a member, the beneficiary will be paid 1.3 years’ declared basic salary. The percentage payable for this benefit is subject to our doctor’s recommendation. Written notice must be given as soon and practicable as possible after date of diagnosis. Terminal Age is 70 years
Requirements:
- Medical reports from the attending physician
- A copy of the National Identification Card and Bank card of the Claimant.
- A certified copy of pay slip for the last month in service for Permanent Total Disability
- Police abstract if cause of disability is accidental.
- PIN certificate i.e. itax for the claimants
